Coral Moon

Finished reading Coral Moon by Brandilyn Collins yesterday.  It’s murder mystery that has a spiritual/supernatural element to it.  This is the second book in Collins’ Kanner Lake series.  The first book introduced many of the characters in the fictional Idaho town.  The first book “Violet Dawn” is not so heavy on the ghost/demon element as Coral Moon.  I like most of Collins’ characters.  They seem fairly real and not too one dimensional.  Many have good hearts that hide their private troubles or doubts.  The story line isn’t overly developed but Collins does use some nice flashback story to telling that adds to the story — but you just don’t know how until the wrap up.

I’d recommend the series….I’ve reserved the next two books at my local library…it’s worth the read.
